This morning I am sitting reading your stories after the devotion A Place of Forgiveness. So many of you have faced things that are hurtful, and your honest questions fill my in-box.
I don’t have all the answers, but I do know that God is a healer.
I do know that He loves you.
I do know that He cares.
I do know that we aren’t meant to be tied to the feelings and hurt of the past.
So today I pray with and for each of you, asking God to move in to those broken places. To fill them with His presence. To show you that regardless of the past or another person’s actions, His plan for you has not gone away.
Precious Heavenly Father, You see her. You see her heart. Her brokenness. You have not abandoned her, and Your heart hurts with her. Fill her up. Take her to a place of hope. Of joy. Show her all the miracles of today and of tomorrow. Lead her one small step up and out of this place where brokenness seems so familiar, and let her experience the renewed sense of You and of Your presence. Today, she intentionally walk into a renewed and deeper relationship with You as You hold Your arms open. Today we believe together that transformation and healing are ahead. In Your powerful name, amen.
