Does Jesus care about my broken heart?

planting

Today, if somehow, some way you have been told that Jesus doesn’t care about your broken heart. . . plant these scriptures in your heart.

Psalm 55:22  Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you.

Hebrews 13:5-6  For He has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So that we may boldly say, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me.”

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you: not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Romans 8:15  For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.”

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Psalm 73:26  My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart forever.

Psalm 46:1-2 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the sea.

Isaiah 43:1  Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are mine.

Psalm 147:3   He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

  1. Oh, Susie! What a breathe of fresh holy air these words are to me today.
Struggling with a broken heart this last year, I have found healing in this
list of scriptures. Interestingly, John 14:27 Is listed twice. I read it first time
through, but HEARD it the second time. Thank God it was there the second
time. Thank you so very much for your wisdom and devotion.
May Our Lord bless you a hundred fold.
    Luv, Marilea

  2. Thank you. The verse are amazing. I need them

  3. Suzie, thank you so much for these promises. I love them. God can heal our brokenness, and I love that He promises not to leave us or forsake, so many times in our brokenness we feel so crushed and tend to feel alone, but hiding His word in our hearts will remind us, HE IS ALWAYS THERE. Blessings Anna

  4. Suzie, it’s so good to be reminded about these promises. Thanks for posting these treasures!
