Living free together is Compassion
Right now there are women across the world who have no voice. In fact, 50% of women are silenced by culture, poverty, persecution, and injustice. There are women who don’t know how to read. Women who are believers, but are isolated or persecuted for their faith.
There are women in prison who long to know Jesus, but don’t know if he sees them. There are women walking into a pregnancy crisis center, carrying that child and a world of heartache and uncertainty.
We love our faith, but living our faith changes the world. Compassion projects come alongside women (and those ministering to them) with the message of living free . . . together.
2018 COMPASSION PROJECT #1 – LITERACY CLASS
Our first initiative is to sponsor a literacy class for women in India who do not know how to read. We’ll raise funds through the sale of an inexpensive, but gorgeous 21-day prayer Ebook journal. This contains prayer prompts and three beautiful color pages.
We can’t wait to come alongside women who long to read, and yet don’t have the resources available. Many of these women are Dalit (formerly labeled untouchable) and reading is a generation-changing opportunity.
100% of the profits from purchasing this digital prayer journal will go toward this COMPASSION project. Those funds will sponsor a literacy class through Mission India. Our goal is to sponsor a teacher and 30 women in a year-long literacy class. These women will learn to read at a 5th year level, learn life skills and small business skills that will help support their family. The message of Christ and his love are woven throughout this beautiful program.

2017 COMPASSION PROJECT – BOGO
Thanks to this community, we placed nearly 300 books in the hands of women in jail, pregnancy crisis centers, in the hands of women freed from the sex slave trade, in the library of a prison, and sent books to specific ministries within Turkey and India. Suzie followed 115 of those books into a jail and ministered to the beautiful residents with the message that we can live free.
This was accomplished through our BOGO (buy one, we give one) Initiative during the launch of Suzie’s Come With Me Devotional: A Yearlong Adventure in Following Jesus.
