Temptation isn’t sin.
Maybe you need to hear that today. But perhaps you need to hear something else.
You aren’t alone in your temptation.
There’s power in the Word of God. Memorize one of these truths. Some are advice. Others are promises.

This is great! Thanks.
I read this entire lesson and felt like someone was following me around. I know the scripture but not verbatim about the tongue being the smallest part of the body but also the most dangerous! Help me Lord each day to begin my daily prayer time by once again asking for Your intervention when I might say something that I am not able to take it back or that it might do “forever harm to someone or to a relationship.” I need to always think before I speak and pray also. Obviously I am not alone in this sin since someone chose to write this article. Mary, who needs to work on this daily… from Illinois.
Thanks Suzie! The last one is one I feel hits me the most, because indeed I feel as if the struggle is against something or someone way outside myself. I have to keep reminding myself that God is greater than anything that comes against me, my Refuge, my Defender, My Savior. I pray I will have the faith to TRUST Him when temptation comes. Thanks again! Blessings on you and your family! Praying for you.
