I hope you’ll join me on Periscope today at 10 a.m. CT for today’s #livefree boost.
My mom is having surgery today. They found cancer a couple of months ago. The risk from the cancer is small, but the surgery is big.
Today’s post is going to be short and sweet because I’m on the road. I want to spend time with my mom before they take her back.
I want to sit with her.
I want to hold her hand.
I believe she’s going to fly through this surgery, but I want the words, “You are loved,” to bathe over her heart as they take her back.
Will you pray for my mom today?
I hope you’ll do something else as well. Call someone you love. Someone you may have not talked to in awhile. Someone that hasn’t heard those words near enough.
Tell them that you love them.
Lord, you are mighty to save! Let me not forget or overlook the goodness of The Lord. Awesome and Holy. Father, I present Suzie’s mom to you and ask your touch, your comfort, your strength to be with her. May all things go smoothly and may all rejoice in your goodness. Thank you for the treasure of “others” to have relationship in life! Thank you for Suzie reminding us each week to love like Jesus. Amen
Praying for you and your sweet momma today, Suzie.
Amen🙋🙌🙏
Praying with you Jodie🙋🙌🙏
Praying for your sweet momma, Suzie! Love you!
Praying for your mom and for you as I sit in a motel with a friend who had eye surgery a couple hours ago. Passing time here so she does not have long ride home and back for morning appointment. I think I will follow your advice and tell someone special I love them. God Bless. I look forward to hearing how Go.d brought her through
Praying for your mom, Suzie: that she is at peace before, during and post-surgery; that she feel Jesus’ presence envelope her in love; that her surgeons are guided by the Holy Spirit to not only successfully clean out the cancer, but treat her with the utmost care; that all of her extended family and loved ones are able to be by her side and shower her with love, to bolster her spirits and reduce her recovery time; that Jesus fills you all up and your every need is met. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
