Today I’m blogging over at my friend Karen Ehman’s blog. She’s having a 12-day party with tons of giveaways.
I’m sharing how to give the gift of no pressure. I hope you’ll hop on over to her page and enter the giveaway and share your thoughts and questions on how to give and receive the gift of no pressure this Christmas.
This is my giveaway today on her site, and there’s a lot more to come in Karen’s 12 Days of Christmas. I’ll see you over there! ~ Suzie
I love the idea of the Gift of no Pressure. It seems as so many have forgotten what Christmas really is.
We live in a pressure fast paced society where everything seems stressful, jobs, relationships, traffic,
finances, medical issues, etc. I wish we could slow things down to remember what is really important
your health, mental, physical, your family, friends, relationships. I have lost both my parents, I am divorced having to start over in life, I lost my fiancée when I was 25 to a drunk driver, I have no children but my family and friends, and co-workers are the most valued things in my life. Material things do not fill your heart when you no longer have those people in your life. When you have been out of work, finances are limited it places added pressure for those who do not have as much as some. I think just spending precious time with people is the best gift anyone could give that does not cost, it does not make anyone feel pressured it is giving from your heart and that present cannot be bought.
I so agree with Conley. I think spending time with people is the best gift. Blessings Diana
