It nagged at me.
It was just at the back of my brain, just enough to annoy me.
Was there something I said I’d do?
Who asked me to do it?
Did it really matter? Especially since I’d obviously forgotten.
It’s funny how something can be so important, but the longer we put it off it almost becomes obscure. It moves to the back burner. . . where it doesn’t belong.
What did God ask you to do?
You knew it was him, but you put it off (like me). You told yourself that you’re praying about it.
Or maybe you’re delaying until you feel good about it, or confident, or 100% sure that it’s going to turn out the way you think it should.
Our revolutionary prayer today is to “do it.”
We’re going to turn around and take a second look at what he’s asked us to do.
Maybe it’s saying sorry. Maybe it’s writing that note of encouragement. Perhaps it’s giving sacrificially or taking a big step of faith.
It could be as small as saying hello to someone, and you haven’t because it doesn’t make sense.
No more excuses for me. I will do what God asks, even if I am afraid. #ComeWithMe #13thdisciple @suzanneeller
I don’t know what it is for you; as I mentioned I’ve got some work of my own to do in this territory. ♥
I’m going to put a package in the mail to a friend who needs a tangible “hug.” Unfortunately, it’s about four weeks late. I have tons of excuses and some of them might sound valid if I try to explain.
Instead, I’m going to be revolutionary and just do it.
I’d love to hear what God is saying to you today.
Day 14 of 21 Days to Revolutionary Prayer
Ask the Holy Spirit to remind you of something he whispered to you days/weeks/months/years ago.
Maybe “just doing it” causes all kinds of feelings to creep in. Here’s some blog posts that might be helpful:
