I just want you to know that I am very appreciative of you and your ministry.
We bought copies of your book, Making It Real: Whose Faith is it Anyway, for our youth group and are using it as a study.
Last night we were discussing Lesson Two which is”Dependently Strong” and today as I was doing the devotions in the book (if I tell the kids to do ’em I gotta do ’em too!) it just hit me that I am making those three mistakes!
It has always been a struggle to not give Him the first opportunity and to leave my road map in the glovebox.
So today God really spoke to my heart and reminded me that what I am sharing and teaching the kids I really need to be relearning for the 1000th time.
You are succinct and hard hitting with your points in that book that I think the teaching of that book reaches me as an adult, as well as the 40 teens who are reading it with me.
Just wanted to thank you for following the Lord and for your love for Him and for us.
Sometimes as writers, we sit in our writing space in our jeans and T-shirts (or sweats) praying and hoping that God will take our small efforts and make them big in the heart of those He loves.
Your email just totally made my day. I love it when God shines a light in our hearts to draw us closer.
I am praying that you become totally dependent on His love so that His strength, His joy, His presence becomes such an integral part of your life.
