Can’t wait to really study these!! Sharing with some friends who are struggling and with a group that we just completed bible study with for their journals. I encouraged them and myself to keep a topically journal to place scriptures in so when we are feeling a certain way we can read them all together 🙂 Thanks Suzie!
It’s easy to make it harder than it has to be. His WORD…Living, Active, Powerful, Lifechanging. May I claim it and live it out I n my own life so that others will see it and than want the same for their own lives. The battle is real but our leader is fierce and He goes before us. Amen! Thank you Suzie! ❤️
These are great scriptures. Last month as I studied Ephesians, I really focused on memorizing and PRAYING the Word. Of course I didn’t limit myself to praying only what I’d memorized. 🙂 Praying the Word empowers!
Just a few years ago, I couldn’t recite a single verse from memory — let alone give a proper reference. But just this morning I was looking up some of my favorite verses to record them in my journal, and I was AMAZED that I not only knew the verses almost verbatim, but also knew their exact Bible reference. And there have been COUNTLESS times these verses have helped me, or someone close to me. God’s Word truly is a living armor that will defend us on every front, in every battle! And it strengthens the work of the Holy Spirit in us, as well!
Amazing. Love to have a strong Holy Spirit always❣️
So had you found this!
Bless You, Susie. ❤️
My late mother believe in having her Sunday school kids memorize scripture. Years later and life experience of a prodigal, I am so grateful for the Word hidden deep in my child heart, along with the hymns she was always singing as she worked. Today those words, those hymns offer me such strength and I can turn to them and many I have learned since as I share my faith and encourage others. Yes, praying the Word, putting my name in the scripture is an amazing source of strength and the best weapon to defeat the evil one.
