This is a post during the online Come With Me Study. Though I’m no longer leading it, all the resources are still here for you, or your church, or your small group. I’d still love to get to know you, so share a little bit about you in the comments! I’m reading them, excited to make a new friend. ~ Suzie
Welcome!
I’m Suzie Eller. I love caramel apples and my favorite combo of almost anything is sweet and salty, whether that’s food or my friends.
I live in beautiful NW Arkansas and am part of an amazing ministry called Proverbs 31 Ministries located in North Carolina. I write a lot of words and am usually wearing yoga pants while writing them.
I have three grown children and some amazing in-law children as well as six grand babies under the age if six — 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 8 months. It’s a lot like having kittens. They are cute. They like to pile on top of me, and they can also be a little wild. Christmas is crazy and loud and good.
I want to know more about you.
Tell me if you are in a group and where you live.
Tell me why you joined this study.
Let us know how we can pray for you, because I have a solid group of #livefree friends who love nothing more than fighting for you through the power of prayer.
We are better together. I’m so glad that you joined this study. I can’t wait to learn more about you, and about your church or small group.
Suzie
If you’ve been searching for a great study for your church, women’s ministries, parachurch ministry, or just you and a friend, check out the Come With Me Study resources. They include videos, downloadables, Q&A, a journal, a prayer book, and more.

Hi Suzie! I live in Western CO on a farm we homesteaded 20 years ago! We have four grown boys all married and have 12 grandchildren ages 19 to 8 months old! I joined this study, frankly because from the moment I saw the title, I felt Gods pull to say yes! I had so many other studies I was doing and wanted to say no! But God kept putting it front of me, and when a sister in Christ invited me to a group, I knew my answer was yes! Chapter One read, I’m already feeling I’m leaving the shore and headed for deep waters!!
This is going to be good! I’ve done the study about getting out of the boat, but it looks like I’m climbing back in for a longer voyage!
Welcome, Teresa! Praying for you right now as you venture back in the boat. I like how you described this!
Your enthusiastic trust is contagious.
Blessings,
Terri

hi I live in jos plateau state Nigeria. I am doing the study alone. I love Jesus and really want to know more about Him.
Hey Joyce! So glad you are here doing the study!! I am excited to see what my deep water is with Jesus!!
Good Morning Suzie. I am also in Northwest Arkansas. My husband’s family is from this area since 1800’s. We have lived here over 30 years and one of my two grown children lives here also and she has three children 9, 7 and 3. My son is retired Air Force and lives in California with 21 yr. old son and a 5 and 3 yr old. I am a retired nurse and my husband is retiring in one week, so we are entering a new phase of our life. I am part of a group here, God-Living Girls and will be doing study with them. I have had my book since it came out a few months ago and I am very excited to move ahead. Thanks so much for your outreach and blessings!
Good morning ! I live in southern Texas and when I say southern I mean 20 miles from the Gulf Coast! I have 2 beautiful children and 8 amazing grandchildren! My son is married with 6 children, 4 who are step but he loves them like his own. My daughter has 2 sons, one going through puberty as we speak! I so remember those days! I also have a fur baby girl and she just had 4 puppies, all of whom i cant get enougj of! I am doing the study on the blog and with a couple of ladies online.
I couldn’t wait to start this study about following where Jesus leads me….it began when I had the privilege of being on the launch team! I haven’t put the put book down since. I have found that I want and need to get into the boat and dig deeper so I am able to continually say yes. Even to things I’m uncomfortable with because I know in the end that my Lord and Savior is asking me to come with him.
Hi Suzie, I live in Central Arkansas. I am a preschool teacher by day. I am a single mom now of a 21 and 18 year old. I have a grad 9 months old. We all live with my parents since my divorce. I am a Women’s ministry director at our church but God told me to step away from everything in Feb.to spend time with Him. I am an avid Proverbs 31 obser so i have many ladies on Facebook now. This study came across on a post and I felt Gods tugging. These past years since the divorce, i have been on a journey to find me again but most importantly God again. I guess both of us got lost in the marriage. This is the next step of the journey for us. Thank you for writing this book. I am looking forward to it.
Aww honey, my heart aches for you. Don’t fall into the trap that you are ever too lost to be found. Jesus sees you right where you are. Sometimes, that’s exactly the place He wants us to be, so that He can begin to mold us into exactly who he has created us to be! I’m so excited for what God has in store for you, beautiful! May you feel Him close as you journey back into that intimate place with him. May He shower you with kisses as you follow exactly where He is leading you! In Jesus name!
Are you in a small study group? If not, I’d love to get you connected with one!
Hey Suzie! I live in Charlotte, NC, married with a son that just graduated college and is beginning his career. I work full time at one the banks in Charlotte. My husband and I have been married for 19 years and he helped me to raise my (our) son. In my previous marriage, I was a victim of domestic violence, but somehow got the strength to walk away. Although I couldn’t have done so without the support of my family. My life has been everything but easy. In fact, most of it has been spent broken hearted. My father committed suicide when I was 9 years old, my mother emotionally and physically abandoned me. I was fortunate to have grandparents (paternal) that loved me enough to take me in and raise me. It gave me some sort of stability. Obviously I’ve overcome a lot in life. I’m proud that I’ve been able to graduate from college, have a successful career, a wonderful husband and raised a bright and wonderful young man despite the challenges I faced as a child. It was not easy, but worth every sacrifice and the hard work.
I joined this group because I now find myself at a crossroad or different stage of life. I have an empty nest, although I’ll always be a mother, I’m no longer responsible for him. Also, my grandmother that raised me is elderly and feeble. My husband and I were helping my uncles and aunt to care for her until recently when it was necessary to move her to assisted living. So now I’m in a place of asking “what’s my purpose” and “what does that look like” and I also feel very alone, although my husband and I have a great relationship. I feel like we, as a couple, are alone. In an effort to spend quality time together, my husband and I recently got our scuba diving certification and went on a diving trip. Wow!! I have never felt such peace, relaxation and pure awe! In the ocean, in the deep waters (our deepest depth was 92 feet) I found such peace, so my hope that as I go deeper into the Word through this study that I will find myself again, find that purpose and know what that looks like to move forward.
I’m SO glad you are here on this study, Angie!! I’m praying for you!! If you are interested in joining a small group, I’d love to offer the link to ours~ https://www.facebook.com/groups/1045575055539002/ Praying for you!! <3
Scuba diving is on my bucket list! I’m so glad you’ve joined us.
Hi Suzie. I live outside of Detroit, MI with my husband of 34 years and my 29 year old son who is finally starting to find his way. I have a 32 year old son who is engaged to be married next year and a 27 year old daughter who has been married for 6 years. I have worked at the same courthouse for 33 years as a clerk and fill-in recorder. I also have the most spoiled Boston Terrier named Muggsy. When my kids were younger I used to teach bible class then my parents became ill and I was their primary caregiver from 1997 until dad passed in 2013. I kinda forgot how to take care of myself during those years and I still struggle with that. I inherited a lake house that I should have bulldozed but instead left it because of the memories. I have two brothers I only speak to through attorneys. My husband has been my rock through all of this. I am hoping to be able to get closer to my Saviour and learn to listen to his whispers through this study.
Praying this study helps you move closer to that intimate place with Jesus (trust me, it will!). Are you in a small study group? I’d love to help you get connected, if not!
Lord, thank you for drawing Joy to this study and to You. It’s no accident that she’s here. Thank you for her and for her willing heart to grow, to be made whole, to walk with you wherever you lead.
Good Morning…. I live in Virginia with my husband and four children. Actually five children as I have a son-n-law too! My heart’s desire is to be a good wife and mother and teach my children what I wish I had learned so long ago. I enjoy reading and walking, and a good cup of coffee or mocha! My heart’s desire is to learn more and more about God….. and to pass that on to my children’s hearts. I’m looking forward to the study!
You have been called as the matron of your family, and I have no doubt that you will leave the legacy you desire! Praying for God to set those steps into motion and direct you towards them. He is faithful! Are you in a small study group already? If not, I’d love to help you get connected with one! So glad you are here, Jessica!
I always say that I have six children — three by birth, three by marriage. <3
Hi My name is Linda and I live in eastern Virginia. Originally, from PA very close to Lake Erie (winters were too much and family was in VA. I have 2 grown children, 5 grandchildren ages 25-12, and 1 great-grandson, he is 6 already. In October I will have another great-grandchild, we haven’t found out if the baby is a boy or girl. My husband and I are looking for a new church. I’ve done many Proverbs 31 OBS. I saw your book and I felt the tug to join. I’m doing this alone so I’d like to join a group.
Hi Linda,
I am co-leading one of the small groups for Come With Me. We would love for you to join our group.

Welcome, Linda!
Hi Suzie, I am doing this study because I; like you, am “Hungry”. I just can not seem to get enough of learning more about my lover, my Savior and my best friend. I (72) am married to my soul mate (78) here on this earth. Between us we have 4 children, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grands. We live full time in our RV in NW Georgia were we both still work doing Park Gate Attendant work at USACE Campgrounds.
I am doing the study through your blog. I have done many studies through Proverbs 31 Ministries Melissa Taylor and several with Wendy Blight.
I was drawn to this study and I believe that God was doing the drawing. I know He has something to tell me through your words and I am a very receptive student.
We are so glad you’re here, Charlotte! What an exciting journey you are on! My husband and I always talk about how fun that would be! Are you in a small study group for Come With Me? If not, I’d love to help get you connected!
No, I am not in a small group.
Welcome, Charlotte!
You are the winner of today’s giveaway! You were randomly picked through a number generator, but I pray that it’s not a random reminder that we are better together! I’ll email you and get your mailing address!
Hi. I live in Joplin, Missouri. I have 3 children(one in Heaven), and a rainbow baby on the way. I’m a crafter by nature, and enjoy all such things. Right now I’m into modern calligraphy, and Bible Journaling. I joined this study because I feel God has something for me in this season of life I’m in. My husband and I are at a point in our lives where we feel God calling us into something deeper, something bigger than what we can see physically. He has the perfect plan for us, and we are trying to follow him. I am doing the study on my own but would love to join a group. 🙂
Hi Daphne,
I am Brandi and I live in Aberdeen, MS. I am co leading a group with Jem Renee and we would love to have you join our group. I have posted the link below!

Hi! I am a gal who desires to be in Love with Jesus…again! I live in Tulsa, a transplant from Chicago who spent 25 wonderful years in Kansas along the way. I am married with 2 beautiful grown daughters and after being a forever nurse, I launched a new career in my 60’s. Busyness, struggles, and life have caused me to not want to say “yes” as I hear Him calling “Come with Me.” Am excited to be on board with you all!
I couldn’t put it in better words — falling in love with Jesus . . . again. Beautiful!
I am Shirley and I live in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. I have grown to love the Lord but have so much further to go, and when I seen a small group was forming, I asked to join with women I have become acquainted with through PB31 studies.
I know by working at being the 13 disciple I will gain more insight into who I am in Christ adn what I can do to continue to grow my faith.
Shirley, I love it when the Holy Spirit gently nudges us into a sacred space where we can grow. Praying with and for you. So glad you joined us!
Hi, I’m Tonya. I live in beautiful East Tennessee. I live a sweet life with a tween daughter, two dogs and a grumpy cat. So my couch is always covered in fur as is most of my clothes, I have a twitchy eye from surviving daily warfare with swinging hormones, my daughters not mine, and I’m pretty sure I have ’40 year old’ shoulder which apparently is a sign I am no longer a spring chicken. But I have Jesus as a best friend and daily he whispers that everything is going to be alright. Messy but beautiful. I guess a girl can’t ask for more-although a return to my twenty year old shoulder would be nice.
Hi Tonya! East Tennessee is GORGEOUS; one of our fave places! I can’t help but laugh at your grumpy cat! I love your transparency! Praying for your shoulder and your messy, beautiful life! I’m so glad you’re here! Are you in a small study group for the Come With Me study? If not, I’d love to get you connected with one, if you’d like.
Tonya is my first name. : ) I’m so glad you are here. Loved your intro!
Hi Suzi! I am married with 5 children ranging in age from 23 down to 5, and I’ve recently been blessed with my first sweet grandbaby! I live in a small community outside of Little Rock, Arkansas. God has really been speaking to me – beckoning me – to follow Him into a new area. I am excited to be in this place, and a bit nervous as well. This Come With Me study couldn’t have come along at a better time for me! I’m not part of a small group, but would love to be a part of a Facebook group.
Sheila, I’m so glad you are following God’s beckoning to join this study, and I agree~ this couldn’t have come at a better time for ME, as well!! I’d LOVE it if you’d like to join our facebook small group!! Here’s the link if you’re interested: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1045575055539002/ Praying for you, sweet sister!! <3
Hi Suzie!! You know me but this extended family of those wishing to listen to Jesus’ voice as he says “Come with Me”don’t know me! I live in NW Arkansas with my amazing husband, Bill, and our two fur babies Suzie and Tokay. We each have a daughter, Alma Rose and Bobbi, from our previous marriages, that are grown and on their own. I love Proverbs 31 Ministries, gardening, house projects with my husband, serving God in any capacity and I am a 100% in Jesus girl. I am co-leading an online group with 18 sweet sisters in it. I am looking forward to this journey with you’all as soon as I recover from an awesome week at the Proverbs 31 Ministries “She Speaks” conference, oh wait, HE doesn’t say when you are rested “Come with Me” he says “Come with Me” so I suppose I’m ready now!!
Love you, Nancy! It was awesome seeing you in those beautiful new gifts God provided this last week. <3
Hi Suzie! I live in Delaware and am a wife of (almost) 15 years, mom of 4 adult children, 5 adult step-children, mom mom to 11 combined. ) I started blogging with P31 and have found my love for writing growing when my fibro brain fog lifts 😮 I am part of an awesome group of ladies – God-Living with Chronic Illness – and God-Living Girls – Still searching for my place in this “season of rest” as I have needed to stop working outside the home, we are helping start a church near the beach area, and looking to move closer. Following Jesus certainly is an adventure <3 and this study is perfect timing for the many changes looming in front of me. My hearts desire is to regain my passion as a Jesus follower – I don't want to be a fan and sit on the sidelines anymore! Oh my! Did I really just say that out loud?? 😮 off we go…..
Off you go!
I live in SE Wyoming, have been married to my sweetheart for nearly 19 years, am a homeschooling momma of 5. We’ve been through some pretty rough stuff and have learned to lean harder on Jesus through it, but I struggle to say yes. Our family has been called into full-time ministry, but as an introvert who struggles with just being in moderate sized groups of people, every day is a stretch. But God is faithful and He has been slowly and gently preparing my heart for His calling. This book has helped me to whisper yes and lean in hard to the only true source of strength.
I’m a total introvert, April, and yet God has called me to speak on a stage about Him. It’s a trust journey for certain, but I’ve discovered that He fills the gaps. Praying with and for you today!
Hi Suzie! I also live in Kitchener, Ontario Canada sharing an apt with a male cat named Maio. I have two adult sons and have struggled/still struggling with multiple medical/mental health issues most of my life, the roots of which have been unresolved grief and unforgiveness. My deeper experiences of grief have been the result of two suicidal deaths of individuals that I have loved.
I joined the study and would like to participate in a group in order to further develop the degree of intimacy with Jesus that I yearn for. I have not come through my many losses on my own strength, but through the joy of the Lord understanding that we handle things, together now.
What a beautiful strong statement: We handle things together now. Love this!
Heather, we have room in our group. You can find me on FB at Terri Gorton Fullerton. I can add you to our group.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1623682901282110/
Hey Heather! I am so glad God has lead you to this study and would LOVE for you to join our facebook small group! Here is the link if you are interested: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1045575055539002/ I will be praying for you as I, too, will be walking alongside you as I learn what it means to follow Jesus with all my heart! <3
That would be great, thanks Tricia!
Hi Suzie, I live in SE Wisconsin, and have joined your FB event page for the study. I was drawn into your book and study through another blogger’s connecting, and I am so glad I joined in! I’ve been blogging since early this year when God asked me to be more transparent in this journey I am on with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, & Osteoporosis. As I have had to slow down and miss a lot of my normal contacts with the church, I’ve been so blessed by this digital community of Christ-Followers! Thank you for making this Study available to so many of us!
Welcome, Bettie!
Hi my name is Jody from Sanford, Fl. I am 63 years old, retired and taking care of my 91 year old mom and my husband of 15 years has Alzmeimers. I have two beautiful grandchildren who I get to see often. My saying is it is never enough. I need to go deeper with Jesus and this book has helped me do that. I also was amazed at your book The Mended Heart. Life healer for me. Thank you and I love P31. The Lord continues to bless me. I think I need to be doing more but I have to remember he has me where he needs me for now. That is a big lesson I have had to learn.
Jody, may I pray with you today?
Lord, thank you for Jody. She’s taking care of a lot of people. I pray that she senses your care for her in the midst of that. Replenish her mentally, spiritually, and physically. Step into those hard places with her so that she never feels alone. In the name of Jesus, amen.
Hi, I’m Carolyn. I live in Biloxi MS with my husband of 38 years. We have two boys, a sweet daughter-in-law and two beautiful grandchildren 7 and 2. We just found out we are going to be grandparents again. I’m so happy that I decided to join the “Come With Me” study. I feel like God is asking me to spent out and I look forward to what it is going to be.
Gaga to six here, Carolyn! Welcome!
Good Morning Suzie, I live in Texas and am a teacher of an adult Sunday School class. I have been married for 23 years, and together we have 5 sons. We have 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Before we moved to this church, I was the leader of the women’s ministry. My previous church was small and this church is much larger. I am an introvert and therefore have a difficult time finding “my place”. Reading this study is making me aware that perhaps my problem is that I am not supposed to find “my place” but rather God’s place for me. I could sure use some prayers right now. I have some physical issues (I am diabetic, I recently had a heel spur which is doing better, I have problems with allergy/sinus problems which I have been told by a doctor is related to reflux, I have been having intestinal problems and recently my back has gone out). To put it simply…I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. Last night I told our children’s director that I could not work with the Wednesday night children’s group due to my physical problems. I feel bad because I know she is already short on workers and I love teaching the children about God’s word. I also have been asked to be the prayer coordinator for our Upward Basketball this year. This is a real concern for me because I was told 3 people were praying about who to ask and only one name came up – mine. I immediately felt a quickening in my spirit but told them I would pray about it. (Sound familiar?) There is a part of me that wants to say yes but I don’t know if it is because I want to be used by God in this area or I want to be known by people. I have some ideas about what I would like to see happen in this area so that it becomes a mission to reach people and not just about sports but I also have some really big doubts about whether I could accomplish this or not. The method that is used is to get 10 leaders who get 10 group members who will pray. I have only been a member here a couple of years and I don’t know 10 people who I feel will really commit to doing this. Sad isn’t it. I believe there might be 10 who say they will but I am not sure they really will. The reason I say this is because 2 years ago right after I began I was one of those 10. I found my 10 copied and passed out the prayer schedule but never again contacted or encouraged them to pray. If I take this I I know God will have to be the one to inspire and lead and all I need to do is say yes. My mind and my heart just can’t seem to come together on this or anything for that matter. I really just want to crawl in a hole and avoid contact with anyone. Please have your group pray for wisdom and strength and a teachable, willing spirit for me. Thank you.
May I tell you something? I’m also an introvert. Doesn’t God have an incredible sense of humor? <3 I’m tuning my team into the need for prayer for all of today’s comments and we will absolutely pray for you. Thank you for sharing and for being here today.
Thanks for sharing that. It made me smile.
Delores, I am praying for you right now–for your health, for prayer warriors to rise up around you. I am also asking the Lord to give you the courage to follow the yes in your heart, for wisdom & strength. Thankful for your open and vulnerable spirit.
Good morning, Suzie from Colorado. This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. What a wonderful day to be walking with our Lord and being a part of this study. I read your book after finding myself unemployed after 21 years and facing some health issues. The down time between jobs gave me the opportunity to reignite my faith and walk with God and my passion for studying the Word and writing about it. I have two kiddos and two of the most awesome grand girls, 7 and 2 years. I am now working as an early childhood teacher for a non-profit that caters exclusively to homeless and low income families. Making a difference in these little ones lives and meeting some of their emotional needs is near and dear to my heart. So excited to be a part of your study. Let’s go deeper.
Good work, Debbie. I pray that God gives you everything you need to love these families in His name.
I love your heart and your strength to push through the valley to the other side. Not only that you are pouring that love and strength on children who need that hope.
Hello! I am in Appleton WI doing the study on the blog and your FB page! I am a mom to 3, youngest turn 18 next week! YIKES! I teach PreK… those are my people. School starts soon and I wanted to do this study before I get so busy again in the fall. I want to be encouraged as our church faces some tough times. My husband is the Pastor there and maybe I can be a better encourager for our congregation. I want to Trust God each and every day! 🙂
Welcome, Mary! Empty nest and new seasons ahead. Wow, I remember those days. Praying that you will be encouraged so mightily that it just flows from and through you, sis. <3 I’m so glad you joined us!
Hi, my name is Cheryl and I luve in New Mexico. I am married and a mom to 2 children 17 and 19. I am a 7th grade Health teacher and am getting ready to get back in the chaos of a new school year. I definitely felt a nudge to join this study and am very excited to see where God wants me to go! I am really trying to listen to the nudges before they become pushes or shoves! I would also like to join a Facebook group since I am doing this study solo.
Okay, Cheryl. We’ll get you set up. Can you email me at suzieeller@gmail.com with your Facebook name? We’ll get you in a group!
My name is Brooke, I’m 36 years old. I live in Sandy, Utah. I joined a small group with a distant friend of mine. When I saw her post about the study I felt like God telling me to come back to him. I lost my job in ministry in 2013 due to a divorce and during that time I lost a lot of friends that I had been close to for many years in my church. Even when trying to rekindle the relationships, they were never the same. I felt so alone and so looked down upon. I’ve even had my faith shaken during these last three years. But I do feel God saying to me with an outstretched hand to come with Him and come back to him. So here I am taking that first step.
Oh Brooke, I’m sorry that you went through such a hard time. I have a really close friend who experienced the same thing, and I’d love to connect you with this strong, amazing friend. But I’d also like you to know that I’m cheering you on — your bravery, your step of faith, your heart for God! Run into those outstretched arms, friend. We are standing and cheering as you do! I’m so thankful you are here with us in this study. <3
Brooke, I went through much the same thing when I was 37 y/o. Now that I am much further down the road, I can testify confidently that the LORD is faithful even if family and friends are not. Lean into HIM. HE always loves and cares for you!!! With Suzie, cheering you on!!!
Brooke,
I am sorry you had to go through all of that! I went through a divorce and I know first hand how that is alone! BUT, we serve an awesome God and one that wants you walking with Him!! So glad you are here doing this study!!
My name is Carrie Collins and I’ve joined an OBS. I was invited by one of my former co-workers and a dear friend. I chose to accept the invitation because I feel pushed by God to grow in my faith and do a better job at incorporating Him every day in every part of my life. I have 5 beautiful children ages 8, 9, 10, 12, and 16. I am a Sunday school teacher at my church for 4&5 year olds. I work in the self contained special Ed room at school during the school year and am also a mental health paraprofessional for a non profit organization. I recently started back to school trying to finish a special Ed degree that I started nearly 14 years ago. Prayer? Who doesn’t need it? My family immediate and extended is where I could most use prayer. Can’t wait to get lost in the word during this study!!
Lord, thank you for Carrie and her heart for children, both her own and that of others. Father, cover her and give her wisdom and unexplained joy. Let her be a light among her family, the light that comes from deep-rooted security and joy in you. In the powerful name of Jesus, amen.
Saying a prayer for your family and your new adventure As you say yes to God !!
I am in a group have enjoyed the first chapter & video.
Which group are you in, Jennye?
Hi Suzie! I live on the west coast of Florida. I am in my golden years and have recently figured out I wasn’t all that great of a Christian. I want to learn more of what God has in store for me. I am doing the study alone.
Veralynne, we are so glad you’re here to journey with us through the study! We would love to connect you with a small study group, if you’re interested!
My name is Michele and I live in Fredericksburg, VA. I am 50 year old “young lady at heart”. I have been married for 31 years, I have two great, grown kids and I am blessed to have two sweetie pie grand-girlies who are 3 and 5. I am GiGi to those sweet peas. I love popcorn, chips and salsa, pizza and tacos. My favorite day is Friday when we make homemade pizza and laugh around the table. I am a baby blogger and a member of COMPEL. I also volunteer at our church as the Tech Team coordinator. I joined the study to dig deeper and discover what the 13th disciple means. I am currently studying this on my own, but will look into joining a FB group. Susie, you are a beautiful writer. Thank you for sharing this journey with us. No, I am not trying to win brownie points by saying those words to you, 😉. Although, that gift is awesome!
Pizza and tacos, a girl after my own heart! We’re so glad to have you joining the study; we’d love to help set you up with a small group!
Yes, that would be wonderful. Thank you, Crystal.
Crystal, we have room in our group. (You may have done this already.) I would love another 50something, chips and salsa friend in our group.

Let me know if Michele can be in our group
Terri, I am pendant on your FB page to join the group. Thank you for the invite.
Awesome! Follow the link below and request to join this group. It is led by Jem Renee Morgan and Brandi Provias; they are AWESOME and are waiting to welcome you with open arms! I can’t wait to see how God works!

I would so love to be around that table!
I’m Debbie and I live in Texas just south of Dallas. Wife, mom to a son and daughter and Nana to two grandsons and another precious baby due in March.
I’m In several groups as I serve as a volunteer with P31 OBS Bible Studies, and also several blogging groups.
I am in this study because of your blog and being part of #LiveFreeThursday friends. Love what I’ve read so far. So happy to be here.
Yay Debbie! We love ya, girl! So glad to walk through this study with you!
I live in south central Illinois in a very small community. I joined Come With Me, because I need to seek Jesus with all my heart and “get a life’ as they say with him more than i already am. I am a worship leader at my church, and participate in all the activities that go on in my church, but feel I am lacking in really “knowing” the Lord. I have two children, 19 & 26, the youngest is in college, so am experiencing empty nest syndrome! I covet your prayers for myself and my husband. Thanks for this study! I have purchased other book studies, but have failed at them all, so ask for prayer that I will stick with this one! I have a friend I’ve asked to join me, but she hasn’t responded yet, so right now I’m doing this by myself.
Hi Dori,
I am co leading a Facebook small group with Jem Renee. We would love to have you join us! I have posted the link below to our group.

Praying for you as you take this exciting journey , as God whispers come with me
Hi there, Suzie! I live in northern VA with my sweet husband and our two senior citizen cats. 🙂 We just became empty nesters, and life is so good! Your words always minister greatly to my heart (The Mended Heart truly did help mend mine, and I’m ever grateful), and so I recently joined a FB group for the current study. I tend to be an independent person (only child, too), and while that is good in some ways, as I get older, I do realize that many aspects of life really are “better together”, because community teaches, energizes, and inspires us in ways that alone time often cannot accomplish. So I’m working to balance the two (while seeking Him as my first priority) – and cherish both as they both have their place.
As an independent Fixer myself, I can totally relate! It’s a daily surrender, isn’t it? Grateful to walk this journey with you, Kristin, as we follow where HE is leading us in our paths!
Michele again, I forgot to mention my deepest prayer request…those great-grown kids are my biggest prayer request as they both have fallen away from their faith. It breaks my heart. Enough of me.
Praying for you in the waiting and believing God is working on their hearts behind the scenes !
Lord, draw these beautiful grown kids to your heart and to your plan for them. Remind them of your love and of who they are to you. Surprise this mama’s heart with joy as she trusts in you for them.
Thank you, Suzie. Tears.
Hi ya all. I live in Western Kentucky and love this study!! I’m co leading a small group and if anyone would like to join us, just click on the link. https://www.facebook.com/groups/278070185879464/
Hey y’all! I am Brandi from MS and I am co leading the group with Jem! We would love for you to join us!
Hi Suzie, I live in central California on a ranch with my husband of 44 years. We have 4 children and 9 grandchildren, ages 12 to 7 months. I lead a young Mom’s Bible Study. I have a heart for young Mom’s and the important job they have in raising their children to love the Lord. I know I failed in some areas while raising my children and I want to encourage these young Moms not to get discouraged. My biggest prayer request is for my youngest son who went through a hard divorce and because of it has turned away from the Lord. It breaks my heart. I am looking forward to this study.
Janice saying a prayer for your son right now to know how deep high wide and long is the love of Christ and to run back to His presence and peace .
Praying for your son to turn his eyes towards Jesus and trust that He has beautiful purpose for his life. Are you a part of a small study group? If not, we’d love to get you connected!
Lord, you know Janice’s heart and her desire to follow after you and make your name known. We ask today that you would speak to her son, who has turned away from you. Call him back to you. Cover him with your love, presence and peace.
Janice, I lift your son up in the name of Jesus. May God speak to His heart and put a stirring in him that causes him to turn back to to the One that can heal his pain and give him peace in the midst of a difficult situation.
Good morning. My name is Julie. I live in southern middle Tennessee. I’m a homeschool mom. I’ve been married, this time, for 17 years. We have three beautiful girls: 19, 12, and 7. I am looking forward to hearing from Hod through this study to confirm where my ‘deep’ is. I teach ladies Sunday school and am very involved with women’s ministry and youth. I love encouraging these young people to grow their faith in God. My deepest prayer request—my oldest daughter to fully surrender to God before too much rebellion sets in. My husband to be the man God has called him to be and for me to surrender-“let go and let God”. Am very excited to be part of this study
Lord, thank you for the beautiful act of surrendering to you. Cover this family. Speak to them. Lead this beautiful daughter closer to you and your heart for her life. Cover this marriage. In Jesus’ name, amen.
So nice to meet you, Julie. What a beautiful heart you have for ministering to young people!
Lord Jesus I pray that you would lead Julie’s daughter straight into your arms and cover her with your love. Make your truths sink deep into her heart. Be with Julie’s husband and help him become all that you created him to be. And help Julie see the beauty and wonder of surrendering control to you each and every day.
My name is Toni. I live in California. We will celebrated our 35th anniversary in September. I have four adult daughters. And 3 grandchildren with the 4th due this week! I lead a small group of women in Bible study where God has done wonderful things in their hearts and lives. After a blog entry through Proverbs 31 ministries I started following your personal blog. I’d say salvation for my loved ones is my biggest burden, especially my husband and my parents.
Lord we thank you for Toni and for her willingness to lead a small group of women. We pray over her loved ones today who do not know you. Help Toni continue to be a witness to them by being your hands and feet and loving them the best she can. Reveal yourself to Toni’s husband and parents. Speak to their hearts in a way that they can’t deny your presence.
Thank you, I’m so touched.
Hi Suzie! I am 51, live in Kentucky and have 2 grown boys. I’m not in a group for this study but I did join the Facebook event page.
I am currently in another online study where I’ve made a few friends and one of them posted information about your book on her Facebook page. I have been looking for something for some time but wasn’t really sure what I was looking for. Part of your book was available to view on Amazon and I read “sometimes I start to follow, and then I turn around and climb back into the comfortable places where I’m not challenged and I’ll never change. It’s the last place I really want to be but it takes too much faith to do anything different.” It was like it slapped me in the face! (In a good way!) Life for me is a struggle right now and with every blow, I find myself retreating and that’s not what I want. I know that Jesus is the answer. To everything. So, I’m hoping this study will help me to reconcile wanting to go deeper and wanting to run back to shore.
My prayer request is that I will learn what I need to face that problem as well as a request for prayer for both my boys. I have taken them to church most of their lives but now that they are adults, they have fallen away. Their father is not a believer and I’ve been praying for years now that they will all (their dad included) will come to know and love Jesus more than I can even imagine to ask for. I’m looking forward to this study! Thanks so much!
Oh sweet Kathy! I’m a fellow “Come With Me” friend. I will take to heart your prayer request for your sons and husband. “More than you could ask or imagine for”…that will be my prayer. So glad you’re here!
Father, cover Kathy and her boys, and their father in your arms today. Bring them back to the place where they know they belong. Give Kathy peace and wrap her in comfort as she walks this journey. Continue to reveal yourself to her in beautiful, unexpected ways. Shower her with kisses as she journeys through this movement towards following wherever You are leading her!
Hi Kathy! It’s so nice to e-meet you! Praying this study helps you draw closer to God and show you how to stand strong instead of retreat. Also praying for your boys and their father — that they would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. <3 <3
Kathy, praying for you. Yes, As you said it seems so easy to just go back. Staying away from the shore can be difficult, hold on he has you covered. If you would like to join one of the groups please feel free to look for my FB group Come With Me – Walking With Jesus. We have plenty of room and would be honored to add you, God precious daughter.
Keeping you in my prayers .
Hi Suzie. I live in Whitsett NC and am currently in a phase of life I never thought I would be in. After 36+ difficult years of marriage, I am divorced. So your book and study group will stretch and grow me in all the right areas! Chapter One ended but I couldn’t put it down! Thank you so much for writing it! Please pray for my ex husband… Glenn
Shirley, I am so glad you are here! It sounds like you are in a heavy transition. Father, I lift up Shirley and ask that you, Lord, be her source of comfort, wisdom and guidance. I thank you for her presence here. Give her clarity on where she needs to follow you next. I lift up Glen and ask that you draw Him to you. I ask for strong mentors to come into his life that will show him how to be a man after God’s heart. Amen
Morning Suzie, My name is Sue. I am an Air Force wife of 31 years and brand new empty nester. I just recently moved from Colorado to San Antonio. I love walks with my puppies Charlie and Dewar. I love watching nature from my back deck. I have to say I am recovering from staring at the Rocky mountains to being entertained my hummingbirds and cardinals but I’m easy. I’m on a new adventure. I have been a stay at home Mom for so long I a excited to see where God is going to lead me next. Perhaps a little nervous too. This last assignment came out of nowhere so God is doing something. Greg and I need prayer that we find a church home. Specifically the one where God wants us. So here I go jumping off the cliff into the deep.
Wow, Sue, that is quite the culture shock! I love that you see that God is in control and has a plan for you in this assignment! Praying that you settle into a church home that blesses your socks off, and that you are able to sense Jesus close as he leads you into your purpose in Texas! Bless you, as a military wife. My sister is as well, and I see the sacrifices you girls make. I am incredibly grateful for you! May He shower you with kisses today!
Hey girl! I’m just a fellow “Come With Me” gal too! I’m so excited for your move. I’ll be praying for your transition to continue to be smooth and I’ll especially pray about finding that home church. So glad your here! 🙂
Richard and I walked into a new church home in a new state three years ago. We were in the same church almost our entire marriage so it was a big step toward “new.” I have come to love this church family just as much — which I thought was impossible. <3 Praying the same for you!
Suzie, I just started following your blog earlier this summer after winning Come With Me in a drawing. I am been drawn to your words ever since. I’m not able to join the online study right now but I am reading the book and doing the study on my own. I’m the Women’s Ministry Leader at our church. So I gobble up anything I believe will inspire and motivate our ladies to go deeper in their walk with the Lord, and in their relationships with others. I am a single, never been married, 48 year old baby hogger! And we have lots of newborns in our church right now. So I am in heaven! I love life, spending time hanging out with my girlfriends, and I love all things girly. Apart from Jesus, no one has more of my heart than my Lab/Shar Pei mix, Beau. Smitten!
I love that you are a “48 year old baby hogger”!!!!!! Every church needs someone like you! Women’s Ministry is a big role to take on; praying for God to continue to bless you in that and shower you with blessings and fresh vision!
Cheryl!! I love your heart! This would make a good retreat theme… since you do those as well. : )
If your women’s group ever does this as a study, let me know so I can peek in one night or day through FaceTime or Skype. : )
Good morning, my name is Alice, I’m 27 years old. I live in Houston TX with my 3 children. We are currently staying at my mom’s house until we’re able to get back on my feet. I found your website when I was looking for online bible study. I want closer relationship with God. My kids are curious and always asking questions about him. About 6 years ago I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure after having 5 heart attacks then my heart stopping in the doctor’s not knowing what to do I was asked to get a defibrillator. By the grace of God I’m still living today when my heart function of only 30%. I still get up in go to work ( I work in a retail department store) where I’m constantly always on my feet and moving around. Some are bad day in some are good day but the Lord keep me going. I love him and want to know more about him. Not just for me but my children and family and everybody else I come in contact with. I found a church that me and my kids go to now they love going. I’m going through so much right now with my living situation and my work situation that I need all the prayer that I can get. I’m looking forward to this study and happy that the Lord brought me here. Thank💞💞
Alice, I am so thankful you stopped by. Lord, we pray for discernment and your undeniable presence to be heard, seen and felt in the hard situations Alice is in. We ask for provision and that all involved will come to know you the Provider, more intimately. Amen
Hi Suzie, I am in my 50s and live in Singapore. I am a fan of yours, as I loved your authenticity and faith in the Lord. Have gotten 3 of your books.
I am joining this study alone. Please pray that I will have courage to step into the deep as I am not very confident to do follow-up for new believers. Wish I had more thirst for His Word and zealous in serving when I was younger, as now I am easily tired.
Hi Laura! So nice to e-meet you. I remember feeling similarly when I was in college and I prayed for God to set a fire in me — and that’s exactly what He did. Praying for God to create a hunger and desire in you for deeper community and a deeper relationship with Him!!
Laura, we are lifting you up in prayer. Father, I lift up Laura and ask that you give her courage and boldness that comes from you. I thank you for her desire to follow you to the deep places, knowing you will equip her along the way. Amen.
Hi Suzie,
I’m a empty-nester with two grown daughters who have both just recently moved to another state.
My husband and I have lived in Southern California all our lives and he’s about 10 years away from retirement. He just recently let go of his job of 20 years, due to his company downsizing, and is the middle of a job search ( for the past 7 months) so I’ve found myself needing a lot of prayer and support to be helpful and strong for our family. The girls are getting acclimated to new jobs in unfamiliar cities and I’m holding down the fort here at home.Being a loving and strong Christian wife for my husband as he struggles with finding a new place of employment at 60, has been very challenging. I’m leaning on Jesus every day. I thank the Lord for Proverbs 31 Ministries.
I’ve read several of your books and did your online study” a The Mended Heart”. I loved it.
I’m looking forward to this new study and reading your book “Come with Me”
Love in Jesus💟
I’m not a social media user and don’t have FB so I’ll keep up by way of your email posts:)
Melody, I am praying not only for your husband’s job search, but for God’s strength as you hold down the fort and are a loving wife. His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness by the power of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness!
Hi Suzie, I live in Manitoba, Canada, but carry German citizenship. I’m a single mom of 3 adult daughters, one is still living with me, and I’m a grandma of one precious two-year old boy. At the end of 2014, God asked me to take a Sabbath year, and I wasn’t obedient. I had slowed down in 2015, but still served in various capacity at my church and other non-profit causes. At the end of 2015 I finally said Yes to a year of Sabbath. I’m tuning in more into God and His Word, spending much time in prayer. Although as it turns out, part of saying Yes is also a move, selling the house and downsizing. I’m in the hallway these days, not sure what door God will open and ask me to enter.
I’m doing this study on my own. And it’s amazing to see the timing of “Come With Me” and my circumstances. God speaks! He is so real, and I love Him so!
Meggie, “I’m in the hallway these days”…I love that visual. When I’ve waited on Him at times I have found myself impatiently trying to figure it all out. My prayer for you is that you will recognize without a shadow of a doubt when He invites you to follow Him through a new doorway. I’ve read Suzie’s book, it’s no coincidence that He has you in it right now. I’m glad you’re linked in here 🙂
Hello, I am Billi and live in West Virginia. I am a stay at home mother of 2, an 11 year old son and 10 year old daughter. I have been married to my husband for 17 years. I wanted to do this study because I am about to turn 40, and have found that my relationship with the Lord has become stronger as I have gotten older. However, I still feel a bit lost. I’ve prayed for guidance in what God’s will is for my life. I’m so thankful I have been able to be a stay at home mom, yet I feel like God is calling me towards my “walk into the deep.” Especially as my kids have gotten older. But, I just don’t know what that is. This study couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m so excited to see where it leads!
Welcome, Billi, growth is such a beautiful thing. We sure do go through many different seasons as moms don’t we?. I pray God will use this study to cause you to be right where He needs you to be as you choose to walk deeper with Him. And, welcome to the 40’s:)
Hi, Suzie. I live in SW PA and currently am recuperating from a knee replacement. I was fortunate to attend She Speaks last summer and am using this time at home to finish my first book. I work FT as a hospice bereavement coordinator but my dream is to retire to minister through writing, speaking and leading workshops to women’s groups with my book. I am a women’s ministry leader at my church.
I am mom of 4 grown children, Gigi to 4 grandchildren and a young great-Gigi to Sophia. I love the beach and my husband and I like to travel in our RV,
Hi Suzie,. I’m a wife of 45 years, mother of 2, and Nana of 4 the delights of my heart. A preschool teacher until 2 years ago and sidelined by my disabilities. I love your book and the whole idea of a disciple following our King Jesus. I’d like to be in a small group a s I’m doing this alone. Thank you Suzie.
Oops forgot I live in Camarillo, CA in Ventura county.
Good Afternoon!
I am Kara – a blessed wife and mother of 2 little girls – 4 years and 20 months. Needless to say we are busy! I am a teacher of 4th graders – so I am enjoying the extra time to spend with my own kids, although I also love spending time with my “second” children at school. I joined the study after reading a Proverbs 31 devotion and there was a link to it at the bottom! I am doing the study alone, but following the blog and facebook page. I am loving the message so far! My biggest goal is to be able to show my students Jesus as much as I can in a public school setting. I try to show them Jesus through me, even when I can’t outright say it. I too am feeling hungry for more, a deeper relationship with Jesus, and a greater calling!
Blessings,
Kara
Wow, Kara, what a great goal you have, showing your students more of Jesus. I’m praying for you now, sister, that this study will make a great impact on your heart and flow over into your family and job. I’m so encouraged that you say you what more of Jesus, a deeper relationship. That’s what I want too!
I have two kids as well, but they’re older teens.
Thanks Betsy! I too have already seen faith pouring into my family, but am always hungry for more! I also hope that through this study I can push myself out deeper in talking to my husband about his faith. His father is a pastor, and he is a believer, we go to church every Sunday, but he never really talks about it. He’s not much of a talker anyway, and chooses his words carefully. I hope that I can push myself deeper and make talking about Jesus with him part of my faith too!!
Hey y’all!! My name is Beth and I am small group leader along with Rachelle Craig for the Come With Me study. I live in Alabama and am married to the most amazing and wonderful man in the entire universe! He is a baby Christian and that is God’s most recent answer to my prayers. We have an 18 month old son, Mason, who is the light of our lives. We also have 2 fur children, Dozer, an 80+ pound Boxer-Pit mix who still likes my lap. He loves Mason! Then there is Diesel, a 5 pound Chihuahua, who is Dozer’s best buddy and Mason’s as well.
I LOVE God, I love all the friends I have made through opportunities like this study on FB. I always say my best friends are ladies I’ve never actually been in the same room(or state) with! I can clearly see God’s hand in giving me these friends and these studies! I am proud to know Suzie and hope to meet her one day so I can just hug her neck for the changes her words have brought to my life!
Hi I’m Leslie. I’ve been a believer for 40 years and married for 30. I have 6 kids, two teenagers are still at home. My grandkids don’t get to visit often enough- we live in different states. 🙁 We do still have the joy of little kids in the house because we provide respite for foster children.
We’ve lived near Dallas, Texas for 3 years. I’m not in a Come With Me small group. I lead an online small group through my church. I’d like to do Come With Me with my group in the fall and thought I’d go through your OBS first. I’m learning a lot both personally and how to engage women online! Thanks, Suzie 🙂
Hi, Leslie. It sounds like you have a busy life. I pray that your time in this study will be great spiritual refreshment for you. I lived in the Dallas area 9 months, but just recently left there for our permanent home in the MidEast.
It’s great to hear that you have a heart for women’s ministry. I do too. I’m also hoping to use Come With Me with a group I lead in the future.
Nancy Silvers is my small group leader on Facebook. This is my 5th study and the first time with you!
The first chapter had me captivated and I journaled an hour later than I planned to last night! God is so great!
I live in NC and moved here from Texas in 1996. My husband is ordained and we are both committed to bible study. So blessed with 32 years! Thankful for P31! Thankful for those who seek obedience and the Lord’s instructions each day. Be blessed!
Dear Debbie, we are team mates. Blessings Diana
Hi Suzie, how I love your posts!
I’m 54, been married for 35 years with 2 grown children, and one lovely son in law. I only have grandkitties right now. I survived breast cancer 4 years ago, which has been pivotal in my walk with Chirst, as well as my earthly relationships. Let’s say it’s heavy duty growth. Lots of dysfunction in my marriage that we are trying to heal. ‘Broken Together’ by Casting Crowns is a favorite. My children do not have a relationship with Christ, although they are wonderful people. The thing about healing your own wounds, is that you have the potential to heal past and future generations. We are feeling disconnected from our church, and I long for the fellowship that got us through cancer. It was during cancer treatment that The Spirit sent me a Proverbs 31 email. It was my sustenance and my light. This is a powerful ministry, and I’m so grateful for the support and encouragement! God Bless you all!
Praise God for your healing, Jen! I will keep you and your family in prayer. Keep trusting in God above all others. We all fail one another and fall short – but God never does. Prayer! Don’t underestimate the power of prayer! And getting deeper into God’s word will also help. Doing this study is a great way to keep focused on God’s will for your life, and learning to listen to His voice instead of the fear and frustrations of life. So glad you’re here!
Prayers …
My name is Jennifer Powers and I currently live in the Cincinnati, OH area. Coffee is my weakness…all kinds…always has been and always will be. I have been married for nearly 14 years and I am more in love with my husband today than ever. I was an administrative assistant for nearly 17 years before my husband and I prayerfully made the decision I should be home with our children and teach them at home. I am an underdog (by it’s very definition in Matt Keller’s book, God of the Underdogs); however, with God my life has been EXTRAordinary. I am a Christian of 30+ years, housewife, mother/step mother with 6 children who went looking for perspective 5 or so years ago…something to turn my going through the motions of Christian “religious” life into actually being a mature, genuine person of God’s purpose and passion, consequently making a difference in the lives of all those around me. In my pursuit, some difficult life struggles and the necessity to go deeper in my relationship with God helped me find what I was looking for – that perspective emerging all around me from some simple, everyday things – things many may find irrelevant and mundane. Despite my continued struggles in this life’s everyday trials, tragedies and missteps, this paradigm in perspective has brought me new purpose, joy and meaning in my Christian life and my relationship with God. Last year, several of our women did the online Bible Study based on Suzie’s book, The Mended Heart. I absolutely loved this book study and my life was changed as I worked through so much past pain. When I saw this new study, I just knew I needed to be a part. Thank you for the invitation and for following Him into the deep waters with the writing of Come with Me.
Welcome, Jennifer! I hear your heart in this. I can’t wait to walk through this with you and the other amazing women!
Hi I’m Jessica. I have been married almost 6 years and have a 19 month old daughter. We live in Knoxville, TN and I am excited to read this book. I read the Mended Heart last summer with the P31 OBS and it was fantastic so I couldn’t wait to join this group and order the book! I read chapter one and it was amazing! I am looking to increase my prayer life and draw closer to Jesus. These last couple years have been a series of trials in my life and I know God is trying to teach me to come to him in the hard times and not run away. I am finally listening…I have made a few changes in my priorities this last week and look forward to spending more time reading this book, journaling and answering the question, and praying over all this. 🙂
Jessica,
I love you heart and how you are listening to God. Life can be busy with a young one. May you feel His presence and promises all through the day and may you have time to dig into Come With Me and His word daily. I will keep you in my prayers. I’m co-leading one of the online groups. I read Come With Me with the intention of teaching it at church as a bible study and God is using it to unpack emotional baggage I didn’t realize i was still carrying with me. May we give it all to Jesus and live free in Him.
Blessings, Heather
Hey Jessica! It sounds like this study came at just the right time. Don’t you love how God provides just what we need? I pray that during this study God will draw you closer and continue to reveal Himself to you in fresh ways!
Hi! I’m Jennifer. I have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. I was a middle school teacher until a horseback riding accident left me paralyzed. I am now retired and lonely. I spend my time reading, gardening (with the help of my caregiver), and shopping online. I read the first chapter and loved it. The follow-up questions challenged me to think deeper. I would love to join a facebook group and find out what other people have to share about their answers..
Jennifer,
We would love to have you join our group – Come With Me, Sisters https://www.facebook.com/groups/221342401598713/. I’m co-leading with Victoria. So grateful for how God speaks through Suzie and I am honored to do life with all of you and to walk through Come With Me with our online group. I will be praying for you Jennifer and for your children and grandchildren. May you feel God’s peace and presence and may His hope and comfort wrap you. Look forward to getting to know you better.
Blessings, Heather
Heather, Thank you so much for the prayers. I’d love to join your group. God must have sent you my way for a reason. Jennifer

We’re so glad you’re joining us, Patti!
I’m Laurie, a wife, mom, nurse, writer, and patient with fibromyalgia. I blog at God-Livingwithchronicillness .com and lead an online group of women with chronic pain and illness called God-Living Girls, who are also joining in this study with me. I am a chocolate loving, historical fiction reader addicted to antique shopping. I have a 12 and 14 year old (the eldest of which is going to get in big trouble if she makes me wait any longer for her right now as I sit outside her friend’s house waiting while I write–ha!). I am loving this book the second time around (although I didn’t finish the whole thing during the launch), but it is amazing how you get different things out of the book when you read it again!
Isn’t it?! I’m noticing that, as well! Antique shopping…. a girl after my own heart!!! I adore you, Laurie, and am honored to know you! Praying for you everyday!
Laurie, we have a lot in common, a wife, a mom, a writer, I live with chronic illness of migraines and pain. My boys are men now. I was part of the launch team. It is amazing how you get different message out of the book second time around. Blessings my friend. Praying for you as I know the difficult walk. Diana
I am a single mom of two teens. Enjoying my time with my kids keeps me really busy and happy. I enjoy the discussions I have with them now that they are growing older. Bible and life – my kids have interesting thoughts and ideas.
You are a superwoman! We’re so glad you’re joining us for the study, TallulahJane! Are you in a small study group yet? I’d love to connect you if not!
Hi! I’m not joining the bible study at this moment…in the “normal sense”, as we have some major family issues happening. But I KNOW this study will be amazing….Spirit-led….and will bring your heart to the places it needs to go to right now. I wish I could join you in the “normal sense”, like I said, but know my knee pads are on and I will be praying for each one of you as you dive in to see where God is asking you to go with and for Him. I will be behind the scenes praying for your hearts to be open to hearing the Spirit speak through Suzie and whatever other method He chooses to use….this brings me goosebumps! You will not be alone in this! I’m asking for God’s blessings over each one of you and those of you who haven’t even spoken up yet…and I will continue to. Bless you for following Jesus this far!! ❤️
Hi Rochelle, I love that you will be praying for the study. I will not be joining the study in the “normal sense” either because of other teaching commitments this fall but I will be joining you on my knees! We are ‘sister prayer warriors’! Please know that I will be praying for YOU and your family issues, friend. The Lord is near. He knows. He sees. He is faithful and loves you so. He has a good plan for you and your family! May His sovereign hand guide you and His presence bring you peace that surpasses understanding! <3

I am a wife and mother of three children (16, 14 and 12). I live in Cody WY. I saw the posting on Facebook about the Come with Me Study and was drawn to it. I feel like God has been nudging me to step outside of my comfort zone in a few areas and I have been resisting. I am hoping this study will help me see the direction God wants me to go and help me have the courage to say yes!
Hi Sharyn! This study is going to be something very special in your life!! I am praying for you. May the Lord give you clarity and fresh vision as to where He is leading. I pray you will be strengthened and empowered to say “yes” with confidence and courage to the beautiful things He has in store for your good, the good of others and His glory!

Hello, Suzie! I am a 50-something, abundantly blessed wife and mother of two amazing young adults. Four years after we married, my husband and I began transferring to new locales for his job. With eight moves occurring in 13 years, our motto became “Bloom where you’re planted until you’re transplanted!” We returned to our Ohio roots in 2006, and God has been planting us deeply here ever since — in our state, our community, our church and — most importantly — in our faith in Him. One of the many blessings God granted me was the joy of meeting and serving on mission with Amy Kratzer. I am enjoying (thoroughly) Come With Me at her invitation, and by God’s perfect timing. He definitely is calling me deeper still, and this study is encouraging me and affirming His call powerfully. Thank you for writing it!
Hi Linda! The peace and excitement in your ‘voice’ is contagious. I’m eager to see what God is going to do through this study! I pray God will strengthen you and impart fresh vision as He calls you deeper still!
Hello! My name is Rachelle Craig, and I am leading a small group on Facebook with Beth Almeida. I live in Bellefontaine, Ohio, and I am married to an amazing man who loves God with his whole heart! He is the one that introduced me to the Lord! I am forever grateful for that! We have 5 grown children between us, and 9 beautiful grandchildren ranging in ages from 18 years old to 4 weeks old. 2 of them are boys and the rest are girls! I am a property manager, and my hubby has worked at Honda of America for 28 years. We attend church at Maiden Lane Church of God, and have been there for 12 years. I love doing online Bible studies, and I have met some amazing women who I love with all my heart! Even though I have never met them face to face, I am closer to some of them than some of my own family! I was blessed to be on the launch team for Come With Me, and this book is one of the best I have ever read and applied to my life! I am so grateful to Suzie, Tracie Miles, Lysa Terkeurst, and the team at Proverbs 31 for all they have done to help me grow so much closer to Jesus!
Love You Rachelle Craig, so proud of you.
I’m a retired teacher in Virginia. My husband and I have been married 35 years and hav three grown children. I have loved your books in the past and have felt a real pull to join this study. The timing is good, so here we go!
Hi Hope! My hubby and I are right on your heels with anniversaries (32 for us!). It encouraged me to read of your willingness to follow God’s leading and join the study. I am praying God will bless you with renewed strength and fresh vision in your walk with Jesus. <3
Hi Suzie, I’m an older mom and grandma with 9 grandchildren 18 down to twins who are six. They are all our joy. This coming weekend we have “cousin camp” with them and enjoy four days of fun activities and just all being together. This past year has been a challenging one for me with my husband fighting cancer, my mother, who also lives in NW Arkansas, having health issues, changes in my job but I can’t tell you enough how God has carried me through and met me right where I am. Thank you for writing Come With Me. God will use it in the lives of many women.
Hi Jan,
I wish I could give you a big hug after reading your introduction! Your ‘cousin camp’ sounds like so much fun!! Being together is truly the best! I pray the Lord strengthens you and gives you rest as you take time for the study. May the Lord’s healing touch be upon your husband, mother and orchestrating your job transitions, friend. May God continue to carry you through. He is near and His presence is peace! I will continue to pray for you and your family throughout the study, Jan.
Thank you, Patti!
Jan, Praying for your husband and that your mom will continue to improve. Lord I ask for the change of job to be an easy transition. Lord you are the great physician. May your live be filled with His peace and you feel his love in Jesus Name. Amen
Thank you, Patti!
Oops, thank you Diana!😉

Hey Suzie it is Diana Rockwell one of your fans. I am in a support role this time through in Nancy Silver and Dyana Bounds Group and will be on face book. As you know I was on your launch team and I wanted to read through deliberately and apply the truth personally yet again. About me, I am married to my high school sweet heart Doug of 46 years this month. I have two amazing sons and six grandchildren. The oldest is 15, 13, 11, 10 all boys and then two girls both 9 for a couple more months. I am a nurse and my career is winding down but I help people as a case manager to discharge home from the hospital. My gift from God is of encouragement. I love to write. I love to help.. I care deeply. I have a fur baby that is my writing partner her name is Tory. I love to sew. Oh and by the way I have lost 112 pounds and maintained this loss for the last four years. I like a little coffee in my sugar free French Vanilla cream. A ministry I have is giving away books to women who can’t afford the book. Blessings. Diana
I appreciate you, Diana.
Hi Suzie. I found your wonderful blog through Proverbs 31 & I look forward to each one I receive. I am married to a very kind & loving man who I married 23 years ago. I have 2 grown children & Scott has 3. Between us we have 13 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. I am 67. You’d think I was 95. I got off to an early start at the age of 16, so my daughter is 50. And one of the saddest things in my life is although my daughter has always been my best friend, she is not saved yet. My husband & I are on sit property managers for a senior community. In this community I started a Bible Study that I lead. When I started it I was on my first time through the Bible. That was about 8 years ago. Since then I’ve read the Bible 3 times & done many studies through my study & my church. I love the Lord so much. When this book came out I knew I wanted to read it & I ordered it & read it right away. I’ve said Yes & already put myself in areas where I don’t feel capable. But I’m plunging ahead. You see, I have MS. It collapsed my back & I’m a total hunchback. I walk bent in half. My words when spoken don’t always come out right. But, I work full time, I teach scrapbooking & cardmaking because God gifted me to do these things. & I like sharing. I teach jewelry making. And most of all I love God’s Bible study that He lets me lead a wonderful group of people every week into thinking & talking about His word. I’m doing new things because I read this book. I said yes. Thank you Suzie.
Nancy, you are a brave, beautiful courageous woman. You have just totally made my day by sharing your story and participating in this study. Reaching with a huge hug.
Hello, Suzie. I live in Houston, TX and am doing the Bible study with another friend. I;m doing the study because I have a desire to go deeper with God. I always have and that journey has been one of starting and stoping, especially in terms of places He asks me to trust Him.
I am a wife to my first date and married to him almost 37 years. We have two grown children and two grandchildren and feel so blessed to be called Oma and Opa. Living out in the sticks on 40 acres in central Louisiana, we are between the kids, who are in Texas and Georgia. Two years ago, I stepped down from an administrator role in a Christian school to spend more time with my grandchildren and pursue my writing. I didn’t know at the time that we would buy a place that takes a whole day to mow and has the best porch view to drink coffee and spend time with God. A new development in the last few months is my Mom coming to live with us. Unresolved issues from my childhood have resurfaced and have shaken our relationship in a painful yet healing way. This study is an answer to prayer, since I am still listening to what God has for me in this season. Although I bought the book when it first came out, I have waited to read it until this study began. It’s exciting to see what God’s going to show me as I accept His invitation to come with Him.
Cheryl – Relationships can be so hard to navigate. I understand this first-hand! Our entire family (my parents and siblings and I) have been torn apart the last few years. We are still connected – still loving – still working toward resolution. But the closeness and joy we once had is shattered. All along, I have seen God at work – not only in me, but in all of us and in our family. Those who have chosen to listen to Him are growing and learning how to forgive — truly. Those who haven’t, are still struggling with so much turmoil in their lives. But I know God is at work in all of us – and it’s HIS timing, not mine. Something that has helped me is to focus on that which is GOOD and PURE. Let God handle the pain – give it all to Him. I also try to ALWAYS turn my focus inward — to see my own fault or blame, and how I need to grow. Suzie’s book has been an absolute blessing to me, too. I’m so glad you’ve found this study – and I know God will heal everything you take to Him.

Hello everyone, I live in wonderful East Tennessee just a few miles from beautiful the Smoky Mountains. I am married and have 6 boys, well men now. My oldest is 26 and getting married in a few months, then 22, 21, 18, 14 and the youngest is 11. My middle son is an Active Duty Marine. I work full time outside the home and do volunteer for various activities, including church secretary, at our small little cute church in the woods. I am also a small group leader for Proverbs 31 Ministries. In my spare time, I love to read and am a crazy planner girl.
I have read Come with Me, loved the book and was so excited for this Bible Study. I yearn to grown my faith in Jesus and to draw into a closer relationship with Him. Sometimes, I put my trust in others instead of God.
I’m Sarah and live in Ohio with my husband of 21 years and our three children. We are in a busy season of life with a high school senior, an eighth grader, and a fifth grader who are all very involved in choirs, theatre, sports, and more! I work part-time, love to scrapbook, and am a sucker for pastries and dark chocolate. This online study is perfect for me right now – the need to be in a study but able to do it on my schedule and the need to follow Jesus’ leading (which honestly, I don’t always know and/or hear because of the pace of life now)!

Hi Suzie!
My name is Lindsay, and I’m an elementary teacher in Florida. I attended She Speaks last week, and I was captivated by your story about Caroline in India. It blew me away and refreshed my heart about how big yet personal our God is. I wanted to keep up with your stories and hear more about your new book, so I figured this would be a great place to continue that.
Please be praying for me as school starts next week! Also, my husband and I are wanting children, so we’ll take all the prayers we can for that, from getting pregnant through life! 🙂
Lindsay, Caroline’s story in India was wonderful wasn’t it? I wonder what prayers Caroline made as she read the Proverbs 31 Ministries Encouragement for Today in her home. I bet she never thought two of the writers would actually turn up and get to spend time with her. We have a good God who wants to bless us abundantly so I am going to pray that he will bless you and your husband beyond your wildest dreams as you long to get pregnant.

Hi!! My name is Michelle Napier. I am a stay at home mom with 2 little girls (Chanelle & Kennedy) and I am pursuing a degree online to become a Spiritual Life Coach! I was called to help others in this special way! My passion began when I was saved, I wanted to teach others how to find their best friend and intimate relationship with God.
I found this book “Come With Me” after my prayer for an online Bible Study group. I was directed through a Pinterest picture of one of Suzie’s photos for the group and I just KNEW that God was directing me to join! I need to learn about Jesus more in a personal way. I have learned a lot about God and the Holy Spirit through experience and my theology studies. And God must really believe in this book because His answer came to me like 5 minutes after my prayer lol
If you can please help pray for my family’s financial situation, I would be forever grateful. We rely on God to provide, and He does – but prayer worriors help so much! I want to be involved as a leader of the “Come With Me” group but have not been able to purchase the book because of unforseen family issues that have came up a few weeks in a row. If anyone has an extra book “Come With Me” that I could borrow, I would give it back after we are done! promise 🙂 (I checked the libraries in my county and they do not carry it)
Thanks for reading and praying for me,
Michelle Napier
OH! And I am from Shawnee, KS – it is a suburb of Kansas City. #GOROYALS
Hello! My name is Nicole. I am a little late to the game but I am all caught up with week 1. I am single, 33 and I live in Southeast Michigan. I am a mom to two dogs who I love very much. They keep me company 🙂 I love reading, being outside, quilting, canning, and eating delicious meat and cheese trays!
I am reading this book alone so I would love to be apart of one of the facebook groups.
I am really looking forward to this study!
Hi Nicole! I co-lead a group on Facebook and we would love to have you join our group. You can request to join here, https://www.facebook.com/groups/288087901538379/, or if you prefer, send me a friends request (Rachelle Craig) and I will add you to our group. We would love to have you! 🙂 <3
Hi. My name is Jennifer Fair. I am a Mom of 3 active boys. Cody is 11, Chris 9, Jacob 6. I have been married to my soulmate for 14 years. I am a previous L&D nurse and previous Infusion therapy nurse. I have worked from home for the past 4 years. I love to travel and have new experiences. I traveled to Haiti in June with my 11year old and realized how much I wanted to control my life. When all I had was Jesus I realized what a control freak I could be. I look forward to learning how to “let” God lead me and trust His will for my life even when I can’t see the next step.
